B. MEMBERSHIP

1. Memberships Fees

The fee for regular adult membership to GLCHA shall be $30.00. The fee for a family GLCHA membership shall be $40.00 and include the spouse of an individual and any children considered youth. The fee for an individual youth membership the GLCHA shall be $15.00.

2. Youth

A youth is defined as any person 18 years or younger on January 1st of the current calendar year.

3. Deadlines

The membership year extends from January 1 to December 3. Membership fees can be paid anytime throughout the year, but they will not be pro-rated. Monies or points for GLCHA year-end awards will not be accumulated until membership is established through valid payment.

4. Fees for each Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) check written to GLCHA will be $20.

C. HORSE SHOWS

1. Show Approval

For a horse show to be GLCHA approved for year end awards, it must be approved by the GLCHA Board of Directors. In return for this approval, a $3.00 per approved class entry will be charged and collected at the conclusion of each approved horse show.

2. Exhibitor's Eligibility

GLCHA produced or approved horse shows are open only to NCHA members. In keeping with this, exhibitors realize the inherent risk of horse related activities and agree to hold GLCHA, its Officers and Directors, sponsors, and any agent of CMCHA harmless with regard to any GLCHA activity.

3. Year End Awards

The method of determining year end awards shall be total monies won at GLCHA approved horse shows. The Youth class, however, shall be awarded by a point system consisting of one point for every horse beaten plus one point for showing.
